The release of Watch Dogs: Legion is just around the corner. Until then, we're bringing you Update 1.2 of Watch Dogs 2 ScriptHook! This updates includes some new, incredibly helpful lua scripting functions to interact with nearby entities. There finally is a way to get a list of nearby entities! Yes, it sounds mundane, but previously there was no integrated way of doing such a thing in the game's scripting engine. We can't wait to see what you will create with these new functions! Changelog Vehicles: Change license plate, move vehicle model parts, toggle individual lights/siren Set all traffic lights at once Lua scripting: Added ScriptHook.GetEntitiesInRange(), .GetEntitiesWithComponent(), .GetEntityClassName(), .GetEntityComponents(), .EntityHasComponent(), UI.SimpleTextInput() Replaced ScriptHook.RepairLocalPlayerVehicle() with ScriptHook.RepairVehicle() Added Script:OnRender callback for drawing onto the screen + related drawing methods Fix trainer menu on high-DPI screens Crash fixes Download & Installation As usual, the installation or update process of WD2SH is as simple as possible: Download HERE Alternatively: Download ZIP Install Done! It's been a while since our last (actual) announcement, however we finally have exciting news to share with you: Nomad Group is excited to release the Mafia Definitive Edition ScriptHook! Download & Installation The Installation process of MDESH is dead-simple: Download HERE Install Done, start the Game Find out more here about the installion process. Trainer Our initial release will include various Trainer features such as: Player Hacks (Godmode, Weapons Menu, Model Changer, Hide Player, Toggle Physics) HUD Customization (Toggle everything, Radar, Speedometer) Environment Customization (Weather, Traffic, Police, Water) Vehicle Tweaks (Vehicle Spawner, Nitro, Repair, Open/Close Doors, Change Color, Change License Plate Text, and more) Discord Rich Presence ...and more to come! Scripting Modders will be able to create fully custom scripts, UIs and missions running within the game's Lua engine. Additionally, you will be able to find references on all available scripting functions, both vanilla and custom-added by the SH, on our wiki at https://db.nomad-group.net/. Over the past few months we've been hard at work planning, developing and testing the first ever Ubisoft-Approved Watch Dogs 2 Modification. Trainer The ScriptHook comes with a Trainer with the following features: Player: God, Ammo, Noclip, Weapons, Wanted, Clothes, Teleport, Camera Vehicle: Spawn, Spider Tank, Repair Inventory: Give items, drone & toycar management Environment: Time, Time Scale, Weather, World Spawner, Media Broadcasts, Clone Entities and much more yet to come! From modders, for modders As we have already described in our previous Dev Blog, users can extended the game with custom scripts. We've already started setting up a Wiki in an effort to document every available scripting function in the game - next to our custom ones - over at https://db.nomad-group.net/. As there are loads and loads of functions available, the wiki is nowhere near complete yet, so if you know something that's not documented yet or find something to improve, please let us know! Another big thanks goes out to our Early Access testers who gave lots of feedback and ideas around bugs and features. Without them we wouldn't have been able to test the mod on a wide range of hardware combinations, ensuring that everything will run as smooth as possible on launch. However, as with every piece of software, there are always bugs and issues that haven't been caught before release, so if you find something you think isn't quite right - let us know and we'll have a look! However, all that doesn't mean we're done here. There are still some things to iron out, bugs to squash and lots fun ideas we want to implement.
